A positive approach to medical control !
With its concept of a Check, Medicheck disrupts the activity of medical control by making it more respectful and transparent for workers and employers. Medicheck is an expert in the management of absences and medical controls, for both illnesses and work accidents, as well as in the best practices and policies needed to provide a constructive response to the challenge of absenteeism whilst offering a better experience to the various stakeholders.

At the doctor's practice
A Check is preferably organized at a doctor's office, a neutral place conducive to a medical consultation that promotes a serene dialogue between the worker and the doctor. We always prioritize a practice close to the worker's place of residence while still guaranteeing the doctor's independence.

SMS notification
The worker is informed in advance by SMS regarding the details of their Check (place, date, time). This allows all stakeholders (workers, human resources, physicians) to anticipate and to remove the unhealthy and unnecessary surprise of the traditional medical control.

Shifted in time
A Check is preferably organized in the second half of an incapacity period, even if a Check on the same day remains possible, certainly for one-day absences. Offsetting the timing of the Check enables the worker to recover, and allows the physician to re-evaluate a work incapacity that has evolved thus resulting in a better overall impact on absenteeism.
A renewed network of doctors
Medicheck collaborates with more than 750 general practitioners throughout Belgium and it’s border areas, which makes it by far the largest network of collaborating doctors in the medical control market. We have met each of them individually to ensure they understand and share Medicheck's values, to make them aware of the reality of the working world and to train them in providing an adequate response to absences related to psycho-social problems.
